When posting the April 1st post, we decided that the official metric of ‘number of people punked’ would be the number of clicks to the ‘official press release’ at the bottom of the post (this actually led to the Wikipedia page for April Fool’s Day). This number stands at 209 (now 215) at time of writing, which is the most number of people we have ever successfully pranked in our lackadaisical pranking career.
This also spawned some rather frantic discussions on Facebook and other sites too, mostly people complaining that (1) it’s 2014 rather than 2013, and (2) that Level III wasn’t included in the December session.
What did you think about the prank? Ideas for next year’s?

It got me – it was very convincing. I was happy that I now had twice as many chances to complete Level 2 by 2014 – but ah well. 🙂
