@Dr_Pain28 I think that is for the Level 1 books for Dec — for the higher levels the cost of registration includes the e-books, and you have the option of paying an extra $150 + shipping for the print books.

@graemeA if you got the e-books for Level 1, then you should already have a Vitalsource account. CFAI would have sent you an email with instructions on how to access your e-books if you already have an account, and how to set up a new account if you don’t have one. If you’re still having problems after following the instructions, you can phone the Vitalsource helpline.

For the CFAI books you save $20 off the original cost for getting the E-book and you have to pay $20 extra to get the hard copy books. (So the hard copy books cost around $40 more)

From: http://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/cfaprogram/register/Pages/fee_schedule.aspx
For the June 2014 exam, your registration fee includes access to the curriculum eBook for your exam level and supplemental study tools, including mock exams, topic-based practice assessments, and an interactive study planner (supplemental study tools available October 2013). A print version of the June 2014 curriculum may be purchased separately** (login required).

Do we have to purchase the hard copy books separately this year? I hear unlike previous years the hard copies are not included in the enrollment fees. $150 + $25 shipping? Does anyone know if this is correct?
