CFA Exam Payment Issue: No payment confirmation

      I have a problem regarding my registration fee payment to CFA Institute, which I’m paying by invoice. I made payment on 26th April for the November 2021 CFA Level 1 exam, but I didn’t get any confirmation email from their side.  Today is the last day to pay, according to my invoice.

      I have emailed CFA Institute several times with my invoice and swift code, but they are not responding.

      What should I do?

      No I haven’t received any updates from cfa institute.

      I have the proof of payment but they are not answering any of my mail and calls.

      Yes I do have a proof of the payment which I have made through invoice but I haven’t gotten any type of confirmation mail from cfa institute and I am not able to schedule an exam with prometric.

      Actually it’s been a several days since I have made payment but didn’t get confirmation mail so that’s why I am worrying.

      I have made payment on 1st July 2021 for February CFA 2022 Level 1 exam by invoice method but still didn’t get any confirmation from their side. Today is last day to register by invoice method. Can anyone pls help me what should i do. @ rishabhsharma and @lala have you got confirmation from them.

        Hi @pranay! I just wanna say we don’t have other choice than wait for CFAI’s responce. I received their responces after more than 2 months and they said that my payment is expired and offer me 2 choices: refund or register an other exam in 2022. I’ve registered my Feb 2022 exam and again do not have any responce. It make me annoyed and disappoited.

          Hi  @lala! Thanks for the reply. I have received mail from CFA that, they have escalated the query to Payment and Revenue Department. Hope to get response from them asap.

          Hi @lala, I have the same problem and I have to write the exam in feb22 at any cost, it is important to me, did it really happen where the payment got canceled and you had to write another time that seems very scary and sad.

          I really wished the institute was faster when came to replying and confirming.

          Hi @lala, even i got mail now saying that the registration is expired and they are asking me to register again for future exam or amount will get refund. If I register again for future exam will my CFA institute ID will change and do i need to make payment again???

            Hi @pranay! Your ID always be the same. If you want to register for an future exam, you just register and choose invoice option. After that, email CFA Institute Registrations & Revenue to let them know your registration is complete. I received their confirm after a week.

      Hi @rishabhsharma – I’ve moved your question to a new topic. Please do start a new topic if you have a question that’s unrelated to a thread you’re on.

      • Have you gotten a confirmation email from CFA Institute?
      • When you log into your CFA Institute account, does it show you as enrolled in the November 2021 L1 exam?
      • Are you able to schedule an exam with Prometric?
      • Do you have proof of payment on your end (e.g. a bank statement showing a transfer to CFA Institute’s details on the invoice)?

      If your answer is ‘yes’ to all of the above, it should be fine.

      If not, realistically you don’t have a choice other than to wait for CFA Institute to get back to you.

      Hi @rishabhsharma. Have you gotten a confirmation email from CFA Institute yet?

      I  haven’t received any confirmation emails from CFAI since I paid my invoice by Swift code. My due date is coming soon, so I’m worried about it.

      No @lala I haven’t gotten any confirmation mail and my due date was 15 may.
      I have written many mails and did many calls but cfa institute is not replying any of it.

      No option left except waiting.

      Hi @rishabhsharma try calling them and tell them your concern, they will solve it right away, I got this done by calling them, and keep checking your profile on the CFA Institute website, chances are you might have not received the email, the same happened to me.
