Hey
I started studying in late November – had a bit slow start but i learned the first book by heart (especially ethics). Now I’m about to start the 4th book and I think I’m going to finish the first reading at the beginning of March. Then my plan is to go through every book again and do every question from cfai, schweser, qbank, mock exams etc along the way till the exam.
It is a good strategy ? Am i rushing or dragging and going through the material too slow ?
(I’m a student and I have unlimited time to study – whole day and night every day, so putting 10 hours a day is not a problem)
It’s the first time I’m taking such a huge exam
Thanks for the answer 🙂
My recommendation (although it may be a little too late now) would be to make sure you complete the CFAI EOC questions as you go through the first read….and then do them again on any subsequent read through….and then do them again during the pure “self testing” phase. That will help cement understanding as you run through each time.
Remember QBank and Schweser EOCs are not writen by the CFAI – the exam is, and so are the CFAI EOCs. They are the ones you want to concentrate most of your time on in my opinion.
