Hello all!
I am appearing for level 2 in Feb 2022 and I want to start studying from next month onwards.
The 2022 edition will be available with the local distributors in August but I don’t want to wait till then. The best plan according to me is to buy Schweser 2021, study from them till 2022 books become available and then study from the new ones. How does this sound?
Also, according to previous changes do you think there are major changes or slight changes? Like does Cfa change a LOTTT or few things here and there?
Thanks in advance! Hope you are doing well 🙂

A quick summary of changes can be found on this thread. A more detailed guide will be published shortly – keep your eyes peeled for our weekly email!
As for your plan, May to August is a long time – and May 2021 to Feb 2022 is even longer! Not that I’m advocating slacking, but do you need to start now?
But if you’re starting light and slow, Schweser 2021 should be great to start with.

Well, I dont want to really start now, not in this month atleast, maybe from third week of June.
Actually, I want to start early so that I have enough time to read the content thrice, and I want to keep things nice and slow not fast and packed.Sooo…. schweser 2021 it is because if I wait till August then the whole point of starting early is lost.
Thanks for the link 😁😁

While you’re waiting for the new curriculum, might be worth checking out our research-backed article summary on the most effective study techniques for the CFA exams – reading (3x) is not as effective as doing practice questions!
Oh, and our free CFA study planner is already updated with 2022 topics! Hope this helps with study planning 🙂

The study material and other stuff costs near to 50k to 80 k in Schweser website whereas 6 books on the topics of cfa 1 in Amazon costs near to 20k…Is buying material of schweser from Amazon , costs 20k, for cfa 2022 sufficient material to get knowledge and get succeed in Cfa level 1.

I’m assuming your Amazon comparison is just for the notes, which is not sufficient to prepare for the CFA exam.
You need practice questions and mock exams too, which likely the reason for the increased price on the Kaplan Schweser website.
