in reply to: BB Prep for L2 anyone? #84969Up::6
I’m currently using BB L2. So far I’m finding it good, but another friend didn’t like it and got schweser. i thought their practice exams in L1 were good but nowhere near as tough as the CFAI mock (or actual exam) because the topics they focused on weren’t similar, if you know what I mean.
Who else are you comparing bloomberg to?

If you want to be confident of a pass you need to reach comfortable 70s though.
I would not obsess about what is the right score and just get practice in. regardless of how shit or good your mock scores are it still boils down to the actual exam day.
in reply to: Preparation Strategy – CFA Level 1 June 2020 #85634Up::5Three rounds of study seems like it might take up a lot of time. But you could watch them MM videos fast-forwarded and make it in time.
The plan looks solid. My comment would be not to get stuck in your ‘First’ and ‘Second’ phases too long, some of my friends never left that phase up until exam day.
in reply to: CFA Level 1 Question of the Week – Fixed Income #84991in reply to: Days off before exam? #85256Up::42nd attempt L2 here. I’ve always taken 1 week off for past exams. Maybe I should do 2 weeks but that would take almost all the time off I have left. @jasdev do you have a particular schedule for the 2 weeks for your ‘L2 winning combo’?

in reply to: AnalystNotes? #85057Up::3I would use them as side material rather than the main one. They’re good for looking up specific problems and examples but I’m not sure how useful they would be to study from.
in reply to: BREAKING POINT!!!! #85131Up::3I went through it once (and learned nothing) for L1. It turned out fine for me, I’m kind of rolling the dice again this year and only reading it once again.

Full costs covered, no questions asked, just by asking. Amazing, thanks for this guys, you’re the best!
in reply to: CFA Audio Notes? #85084Up::2Found this thread while I was looking for audio notes as well. Does anyone have any opinion on Allen? (as they also have audio notes)

I’m out of shape as shit in real life.
Who says dreams don’t come true? I failed, bleargh. Back to the grind for June 2020 I guess.

Up::2I voted for ‘ethical’. I think it’s fine as long as the methodology itself is not proprietary and insider knowledge.
in reply to: Udemy CFA Courses #84986in reply to: Question about Study Strategy – Level 1 June 2019 #85033Up::1I’m on a similar schedule, hope it pays off. I did the exact same strategy for L1 – do I need to step it up for L2 or should the same strategy be enough?
