So I have applied for the student scholarship and will apply for the access scholarship as well when the window opens, So I should keep studying for the May attempt and I will be notified for the scholarship by 31 March? Also if I dont get a scholarship, will I still get the early bird discount for May attempt ?

Unfortunately, the CFA Institute doesn’t offer student scholarships specifically for the exam registration fees. However, there are still ways to potentially reduce the cost:
CFA Program Scholarship: The CFA Institute offers a scholarship program that covers the entire cost of the CFA Program (all three levels). This scholarship is highly competitive and has a separate application process. You can find more information and deadlines on the CFA Institute website: https://www.cfainstitute.org/en/programs/cfa/scholarships/access
Local Scholarships: Some local investment or financial societies in Edinburgh might offer scholarships for CFA candidates. Here’s how to find them:
Search online for “[Financial Societies in Edinburgh]” or “[Investment Clubs in Edinburgh]”.
Contact the finance departments of universities in Edinburgh. They might have scholarship information or be able to point you in the right direction.
