      I’m doing this with 2013 Schweser materials for Level 3, so I think you can use 2014 materials for Level 1 as well. Compare the 2014 study sessions and los’s with with the 2015 lists; most in 2015 will be the same and you can use the 2014 Schweser materials for those sections. Use the CFA materials for new sections (which shouldn’t be too extensive).

        Since you have plenty of time, I’d go with the essential package for now, which is what I did. Spend some time with the notes before the classes start in January, and you may decide that you don’t need the class. You can always register for classes later if you feel you do need them.
