omg, nice post, we definitely need to keep things in perspective and set aside time for things that are more worth while in the long run. I’m not saying that the certification is not important, but I think it is important to keep things balanced and healthy during the exam periods to mitigate a depressing future which many around us would not understand. For me, the hardest part would be getting people who are not taking the exam to understand the pressure, stress, anxiety and worries an exam taker goes through. Either way, what’s yours is yours, and a CFA is no reason to neglect everything else in life. Keep your head down and your chin up.
