What is the best test bank for Level 2 Prep?

I sadly failed the L2 and used Kaplan and CFAI material. That is not to say that Kaplan is at fault here. I blame myself and my traveling job which had me on the road more than usual 😉

Regardless, I found that the Kaplan material often over or under emphasized topics in their notes. Additionally, the test bank was a joke. Most questions were in a L1 format.

What test bank should I use for this go around?

        Sorry to hear that @toeknee9121‌!

I used Kaplan for L2 (that was the only time I used test bank) and it worked for me.
Don’t think that many providers offer full test banks for L2. Fitch is the only other that comes to mind.

Argh @toeknee9121‌, sorry to hear that… but good to hear you’re not giving up! L2 is the toughest, in my opinion. Test bank? I just did 7-8 sets of timed practice papers with end of chapter questions the last time – perhaps a good strategy to go for is the diversify the practice papers amongst Kaplan, Elan, Fitch and CFAI mock? That should give a good base to cover all sorts of question styles.

Sorry to hear, but do understand that your odds of passing are higher so long as you slog through the material again. I had the same experience for L2.  I did a lot of Schweser QBank and saved the mocks till the end the first time round. Problem is that you run out of time.

Here’s what I did this year to get the pass: CFAI questions got first priority, start early. Then Elan, then the prior year CFAI mocks and those CFAI assessments. I did the Schweser EOC Q’s as well, but since I already saw them I put them last in line. The only time I did Schweser QBank was for when I was going to be at kids practice or something. You can do them on the plane. In the last three months, I hit the mocks hard and bought FinQiuz mocks and item set Q’s to supplement.  Those are brutal, but if you’ve studied you will appreciate the extra difficulty.  Repeat the mocks a few times, this is something I believe in–you will gain confidence and absorb the concepts.

The only other thing I’ll mention is the DIY flash cards. Those are critical.

        Good luck!

        Hello!
I had the same problem. I think that Schweser books are really good but I had the feeling that QBank and the practice exams are easier than the exams. I’ve always made aroung 70-75% of correct answers both in the QBank and in the practice exams (I did 3 of them…always finished around 30 minutes ealier) but last 7th June I was almost crying!! I would like to try again but I need to find a provider of more difficult questions… Can someone help me?
        Thank you!!

@Zee it may be a user error issue considering I ordered my material late in Feb and traveled most of March. Maybe I will give kaplan another go and take @Sophie‌’s suggestion and diversify my practice papers. Thank you both for the info.
