how much level 1 review would you suggest before I dive into the level 2 books? I use Kaplan and have their secret sauce for level 1. do you suggest I just read the level 1 secret sauce and then start on level 2 or is that ok just to dive right in?

I’d say no, L1 review is definitely not necessary….the L2 curriculum has “optional recap sections” whenever they are needed and in fact in terms of specifics there really isn’t THAT much explicit overlap between L1 and L2. I mean of course general foundations are built on, but any specific knowledge needed from L1 is explicitly recapped in the L2 materials.
Dive right into the JOY that is the L2 experience my friend 😉

I suppose more 411 is needed for that question to be answered effectively. I took level one in June 2015. So it hasn’t been too long but I haven’t touched any material since 6/6/15. Don’t plan on touching anything until 10/1/15 either, unless that’s a mistake? But until then I was wondering if I should reread the level 1 secret sauce? Of course it’ll have a benefit either way but is it really necessary?

@googs1484, thanks for asking this, I was curious myself. Official CFAI mat’l should be arriving today. Saw on UPS that it’s just over 14 pounds. That’s a lotta pages.
