I’m curious… has anybody read chapter 26 of the curriculum recently?  Did anybody notice the anti-capitalism angle?  They almost called Milton Friedman an unethical oger and spoke glowingly of Rawls who speaks of equal distribution of economic benefits.  Has it always been like that?

Sometimes, curriculums are revised to reflect current events or evolving social and economic views. This could explain the emphasis on anti-capitalism.
The teacher might be presenting the material in a way that highlights the shortcomings of capitalism.
If the curriculum is on economics or political theory, it’s natural to discuss different ideologies like capitalism and socialism.
