I have 8 practice exams (6 Schweser and 2 CFAI). I can only take exams on the weekends, and have three under my belt so far. Any recommendations on when the last one should be taken? I’m taking the week before the exam off from work, and in the US we also have Memorial Day on May 26th. My current plan is the following: Exam 4 on May 24, Exam 5 on May 26, Exam 6 on May 31, Exam 7 on June 2, and Exam 8 on June 4.

I’m concerned that I’m taking the last two exams (one will be Schweser and one will be CFAI) too close to June 7th to really benefit from reviewing the answer explanations. I like to leave a gap in between the exams to review my answers and bone up on areas where I’m weak.

Any advice would be appreciated. TIA

Yes @nar_bsoa‌ – that’s a little too late. You may want to try the Last Minute guide, although it’s not something I recommend to end up using in the first place.

How much more materials you haven’t gone through @nar_bsoa‌ ?

Goofy thing about practice exams is that they’re not all created equal. Passed Tense is great, but sometimes it’s a bit too easy and I think an online test is not the same as pencils and answer forms, personally. Schweser’s live mock was great, but there’s only so many true 6-hour chunks one can invest before the real deal. Everything else is somewhere in the middle.

I’m only just finished Fixed income and I have done no exams!!! Do I have any hope? I have two weeks off before, was hoping to do Derivatives and Portfolio management in 2 days and then pure exams until Thursday before the exam. Sounds like I am miles behind!!!

Planning to complete the study today and start with practice exams and mock tests tomorrow.
Also i’ll be taking my annual leave from 25th till the D’day. So, planning to do roughly 6 -8 mock tests and revise concepts..Hoping to score 85+ by the time i finish the last one

BTW, Sophie, you’re doing an amazing job on the board…

@ronan188‌ just keep going. you have a few days so don’t let them go to waste by wondering how far behind you are or how you won’t make it. Just think this. It’s an exam. The only thing in your hand is doing the best you can and not wasting time wondering you can’t. The rest is fate. So just shut out everything and do your best. Good luck 🙂

One suggestion is to leave out Exam 8 altogether. I think you’d be pretty tired of practice exams by then, and 7 sets of papers are more than enough! I usually leave at least a few days before the exams to chill out and do some light reading only.

i’m significantly behind my schedule and currently doing my first revision. Yet to start with practice tests and mock exams. Am planning to take mock exams during the first week of June. Is it too late?
