… that after 5 minutes of calculator tapping I get an answer nowhere near any of the answer options.

Then after another 5 minutes of ‘rechecking’ my calculation, I get a new answer that is different from my original calculation….that is still nowhere near any of the answer options

As you can tell, I’m so well prepared for the exam.

Just another hour and I’m done for the day…. and year.

I’ll occasionally start with the answers they provide and see if I can intuit one of those to a plausible reading of the question.  Does that dramatically boost my odds beyond the 33% that I’d get by blindly throwing a dart at the answer?  I have no idea, but it will help me feel better about having to guess.

@genetemp  Could you please describe your process for solving DCF questions?  Maybe someone can help if we see the process you are using.

I was just more commenting that I’m probably somehow entering in numbers wrongly into my calc. Each time. Ah well. Thanks for trying to help though!

Hang in there @genetemp! I have many of those moments too…

My motto is when these things happen, and my allocated time per question is up, I’ll just randomly choose one answer and move on. And come back to it later if I have time… that helps dealing with the anxiety/uncertainty
