I still haven’t received the results yet. Anybody else on the same boat?

It’s definitely not normal for it to take so long. CFA Institute had a significant delay (approx three hours) which we’ve never seen before. They’ve only just published the pass rate and emails are now being sent out. They can take a while, and given the delay that we’ve already experienced, all bets are off on how long your results email will actually take.
Not only that, they have also changed the results format – the email you receive today only tells you a pass or fail result. In the past, the email also included:
- a categorical score on your exam topics – one of 3 categories: 0-50%, 51-70%, 71% and above
- in the case of a Fail, an additional Band 1-10 score (10 indicating the closest to a Pass grade)
CFA Institute does say that ‘detailed’ exam scores will be published online the following day. We’ll know then if the ‘additional details’ are the same as past years.
