      Hi 300 members,

I am planning to take CFA Level -1 in 2014. I haven’t registered yet, but I got schweser 2013 Notes from one of my friend which I have started studying. Just want to know if there are any changes in 2013 to 2014? Will I need to purchase new version of Notes as well ?

      Thanks,
      Me

          Repasting here for clarity:

For the year 2014, the CFA Program curriculum for CFA Level I has seen minimal changes from 2013.
Ethics, Quantitative Methods, Economics, Financial Reporting and Analysis,

          • Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Equity are pretty much exactly the same in 2014 as they were for 2013.
          • All the Fixed Income Readings (aside from one Reading, “Fundamentals of Credit Analysis”) have been replaced with 4 completely new Readings.
          • One Derivatives Reading, ‘Derivatives Markets and Instruments’, has been revised.
          • One Alternative Investments Reading, “Investing in Commodities”, has been deleted.
