        Lately, i’ve been seeing a LOT of discussion pertaining to this matter and honestly, it’s freaking me out.

        I’ve finished 6 schweser exams and i’m about to do my 7th mock which is the CFAI mock. But everyone keeps saying that the CFAI is more characteristic of the actual exam and that’s cool. But i’m just doing 1 CFAI mock and i have 4 days left excluding today. What should i do for the rest of the week till the exam?

          For level 1 it shouldn’t matter whichever you focus on, honestly, I didn’t even touch CFAI readings at all, needless to mention their EOC questions.

          My advice is that you understand the concept of each readings, understand the formula and not memorising the formula as the actual level 1 exam is less calculation-based compared to schweser though i’m not saying they won’t test you on the formulas. For example, instead of calculating the price of a stock with gordon growth model, you’ll could be asked the weakness of GGM, etc.

          Good luck in the last 5 days!

            @vincentt Thanks for the tip 🙂

            @Sophie
            Yeah, i’m trying not to overdo. I wrote the morning session of the cfai mock and I’m not really happy, I took more time to finish the paper than usual, i got really stressed during the exam due to over-thinking of certain answers and i scored 69.17% in it. And for some reason, my Eco marks are just not improving. Hoping that the afternoon session doesn’t fry my brain as much.

            I was also having trouble with economic. I went back and did the readings. Carefully examined blue box examples. Did a few EOC questions. But I reckon that you are probably missing a couple details in your understanding. You will probably be fine if you approach the readings again while being all Zen-like.

            FWIW I completed the full CFAI mock yesterday and found both AM and PM Econ sessions to be ridiculously tough

              Yup @sidmenon – don’t freak out if you have extra time before the exam, it means you also put in the hard work. Just use this time to refer through worked examples or concepts you have had a hard time remembering. It’s good to give the brain a little rest and not stress it out with more mocks right before the big day 🙂

              The word on the street is Schweser for everything apart from FRA, Ethics and Econ.
