@singhanand98 I don’t think I can suggest much since I do have a background. But no matter what new thing I want to go out and learn, I buy a book first. It is just my way of doing things. That I why I said make sure you are the video type of person and not that video’s are a bad way to learn.

I watched and listened many Financial Videos free on youtube and many other social network..I think ARIF,s Tutorial BEST, sound,materials, simple accent ,speed of space,simplicity,examples, and mathematical drawing on board, no other NEAR his teaching Video,s..Thank you

I found his videos very useful for FRA. I was struggling to get through it because it is so dry and he has a great way of breaking down examples. Particularly on SS9 where there are lots of “you should do this under USGAAP but not under IFRS” it is worth listening to the video which only takes 1/2 hour then do the reading. To be honest you could probably do that with every reading and something i will likely do for level 2 (once passed level 1, Inshallah!)

Hey @singhanand98 – I have heard great reviews too, but haven’t tried them yet myself. Might do in Level 2 (if I pass this round)!

I can’t wait till June 2nd. @singhanand98 before you buy any video’s be sure that you are the type that can learn by video. The Schweser video’s put me straight to sleep.

I haven’t viewed all his videos but I used his free videos on quantitative methods a lot in the early days (Jan/ Feb) as I was totally new to the topic. They helped quite a lot as he goes through the stuff really slowly and simplifies everything. His video on how to use the TA plus calculator is also very good and saved me a lot of time as I had previously been trying to do some of the calculations manually. I think he lives in Pakistan and so gives many examples related to stocks on Pakistani stock exchange!

Come exam day I may be proved wrong but from my last 6 months of studying I would say just focus on the materials you have be it CFAI or Schweser and work it out for yourself.No provider will do the work for you. I previously tried to go through all of his videos and I found it was taking too much time as they go at a very slow pace and there are so many videos. If you learn well from videos etc I am sure his are pretty good and his packages are pretty cheap compared to other providers but video learning isn’t really my style and I just use his videos as a last resort if I really am not getting something. Also the free ones are from 2011 and so some of the topics he covers are no longer relevant (Economics has completely changed etc).

If you are going to use them – I recommend accessing them straight from his website as it is easier than navigating thought the vids on Youtube.

As for me, his video is the best. He speak slowly then others and fully explain topics. My English not very good, so it hard to understand when speaking is fast especially with a special terms, but this video are fully understood

I found the free Elan videos on YouTube helpful as well. However, they are usually in 5hr chunks. CFAI tends to woffle on in a lot of areas and started to drive me crazy. Irfanullah has each video on a specific concept. I found his videos useful for review on public transport, lunch break or a slightly longer bathroom stop
