What is an ideal month by month plan for revising cfa – anyone who has completed cfa level 1, can you provide me with your study plan?

Are the CFA own materials / curriculum enough or is Kaplan Schweiser better?

Is Kaplan study sufficient on its own?

      Thanks in advance

Hi @Pat_Halberstram, there’s quite a lot of blog posts on this, feel free to browse them here. Here’s a detailed overview of my Level 1 experience, and you should certainly set up your study plan according to your schedule, here’s a good guide on doing that.

In terms of materials – CFA curriculum on it’s own are sufficient, but some community members (I’m for one) find them lengthy and may prefer a more concise version from prep providers like Schweser, 7City, BPP or Elan. We have discounts for our 300H readers at the Reviews & Offers section – do check it out. I used prep provider’s materials for my exams exclusively, mainly because I didn’t have much time other than weekends due to a hectic work schedule!

Hope this helps, let us know if you’ve further questions 🙂

@Sophie Schweser would probably be ideal, my internship ends in March so I will have little time to study until then (except weekends). Do you work in IB or AM?

I used to work in IB. If you read my Level 1 experience (link above), you’ll see that I used prep providers only (Schweser) and only studied on weekends.

Sticking to one provider should work fine @Pat_Halberstram.
