@hairyfairy is this after all three exams + 4years of experience, i.e. getting your official charter? or is this after say level 1,2,3?

Lol appreciate the brave effort! Adding my own data point: portfolio managers definitely benefit from the CFA qualification. It’s not directly linked to comp as e.g. accounting or actuarial exams, but promotions and job roles come easier, which translates to an (on average) higher salary for sure.

@tingwuwang‌ getting the charter definitely is worth more than simply ‘passed L3’. So yeah I’d say this is after getting the charter, rather than simply passing L3. Although if you’re already a portfolio manager, by L3 you should have accrued 4 years.
