People took the survey after the exam and now they have to pay to get the results… Thanks but no thanks.

They’re sharing the main lessons here too though. It’s not like the work is effort-free.

Once the world existed in a state of “lacking”, where knowledge was hard to acquire and data almost non-existent. The need then was digging up data.

We now live in a world where data is abundant, in fact… almost too plentiful. The need now is simplifying and summarizing the data to make it relevant.

Having worked on a number of survey projects, its a significant effort and requires a lot of skill. The 300 Hours team does a great job at boiling down the data. I recommend their reports!

It isn’t just the results, it is detailed analysis of the results and insight on what you should be doing to pass the exams. If you expect that for free because you filled out a 7 second survey…you’re delusional. Like @artyeasel said, the basic results will most likely be on the blog.
Besides I think of the $19 as support for running the website etc…

              Hi all

Thanks for the comments! @lfpere30‌, no worries if you don’t think it’s a good deal. As @artyeasel‌, @WesMantooth‌ and @paulpassedtense‌ mentioned, it takes quite a lot of effort to properly analyse, compile and present meaningful conclusions.

Readers’ contributions for the eBook helps a bit, and we appreciate it a lot!! Even so, CFA Exam Insights is still very much a labour of love rather than a monetary one, otherwise we would not have reached this edition.

As per the post and @WesMantooth‌’s comment, we do want to share the main conclusions with all our readers regardless of whether they get CFA Exam Insights or not, hence posts like these. The ebook is just a way for readers to both contribute and get something useful in return.

I’d also just like to thank everyone on behalf of the team who’s gotten the report so far – we really appreciate it!
