        Hello,

I’m new to the site here and I’m considering starting the CFA 1. If I start now would I have enough time to study by December? I was an economics major in college and now have two years of experience as a licensed financial advisor with the aams. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Yep I agree with Zee, if you start now with concerted effect then you definitely have enough time to complete your study for level one by December.

You should have time to give it a go for December. Even if you don’t pass, you’d have built a good base to try again in June, so there’s no reason not to try December (apart from the effort spent).

Effort being money, time and opportunity cost. It’s a whole darn lot if we are being pragmatic but Valar Morghulis, including the CFA!
