Registration to CFA Level 1

        i want to register for level 1 and will make a wire transfer as payment. Can anyone tell me what will be considered as my registration date, when I make the wire transfer or when CFA institute receive the payment. 

        Very urgent.

          I’m not sure – but I’m inclined to believe that it will be the date CFA Institute receives the payment.

            Thanks Zee for the reply, I got the reply from the institute and luckily and for future reference of people in distress like me, the last date of receipt of money is 15 September, so I had plenty of time.

              Hi, Can I pay by my bank’s (VISA) debit card instead of a credit card?

                From the CFA Institute’s site:

                “We accept the following methods of payment:

                • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club, JCB, and Discover
                • Personal check, corporate check, or bank check (i.e., certified check, cashier’s check)*
                • Money order or postal order (including Western Union)*
                • Wire or ACH (contact info@cfainstitute.org for instructions)*

                All payments must be made in US dollars.

                *If you are not paying online with a credit card, you must use the “Print Invoice” option during the checkout process and submit the invoice along with one of the accepted payment methods.

                If you are registering for the CFA Program and you have selected the print version of the curriculum, it will be shipped within one to two business days after payment confirmation. Your curriculum should arrive within six to nine business days after shipment.”

                  Yes payment can be made through an international debit card
