Kaplan extension purchase

Question

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My exam got cancelled and I am planning to re-register as soon as possible. In the meantime I contacted Kaplan about extending my package, I was under the impression they are extending for free. However they got back to me with an email saying it would be 49USD to extend 3 more months.

Was anyone able to extend for free before? Just want to know if this is their standard policy. Thanks.

We've not heard of paid or unpaid extensions either way I'm afraid, although we do have been advising candidates to contact Kaplan Schweser if their exams have been cancelled or postponed.

Kaplan got back - they're currently considering extensions on a case-by-case basis, so I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all policy in place.

I guess I would like to extend, however the main issue for me is I'm worried about my exam getting cancelled and having to extend it again ... they got back to me and said there would be no change in material or new mock exams. So by that point I would have used up all the material already.
