Hi there,
i am supposed to sit for the l3 exam tomorrow. This morning I got notified by my parents that they have been in contact with a positive case, they will have to do a certified test here in Luxembourg and the results will only be available AFTER the exam. Until then they are meant to isolate.
Given that I live with my parents, and the fact they are showing flu-like symptoms, I am not entirely certain what to do. My best guess would be deferral, although i will not be able to show a confirmation (i.e. test result) until after the exam and it might be that the result will be actually negative.
any suggestions?

The COVID-19 payment deferral may be the best option for you if your COVID-19 related hardship has been resolved and you are able to continue making your full monthly mortgage payment, but cannot afford a full reinstatement or a repayment plan to bring your mortgage loan current.

You should email CFA Institute to ‘register’ your awareness of your COVID exposure. Cases are considered on an ad-hoc basis but I believe you should be able to follow up with proof even after the exam.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 14 days leading up to your exam appointment, have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 14 days leading up to your exam appointment, or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, you must not report to the test center on your exam day. Instead, contact us for more information.
