Hey everyone
Just wondering I have the Schweiser books but are dated from 2011. Is that still ok or is it important I purchase the newer books? I assume the CFA curriculum remains the same? Thanks

CFAI changes their study materials every year, though major changes, it can still be quite different.
Here are some of the changes:

Always safer to get the latest @PMWAnderson! I’d hate to spend half of the year studying only to know I miss the pass band by 2 points! I’m paranoid like that :))

Number of readings for L1 in June have actually dropped(and the fixed income material is new). For this reason I wouldn’t read outdated content- especially if you have to read a bit less…

Good decision! I guess the first book hasn’t changed much. So the first couple of sessions in Quant may be good starting points as well.

@kristin_cfa thanks! I ordered the new Schweser books so should arrive soonish. I started with Ethics today as I would imagine that it hasn’t changed much. Any other topics to start with?
