Hey all, first timer here. Was just checking out cramfighter, which is a kind of CFA scheduling tool that reminds you how much you should be studying through your computer, smartphone etc. Just wanted to get thoughts on whether the set up is worth it, or I should just stick to traditional ways. Is paying for CFA scheduling tools worth it?

Best of luck with your prep! Seeing that calandar would always motivate me to study my target amount of hours per day. Also allowed me to better visualize how much time I had left and how far along I was. I would write down deadlines for each section on the calander to make sure I didn’t get hung up on any one topic and keep me on track.

Thanks all for your thoughts! I think I’ll get a wall calendar or something and stick it above my desk.

Yep that’s the 300 Hours scheduling sheet. Many candidates end up doing something like this to track their progress.
I’m sure a paid product would probably make it easier to track and view your progress. It’s really a personal call as to whether that’s worth the price asked, definitely not a ‘must-have’ product.
