CFA Level 3 here. My essay paper scores are bloody abysmal so I’ll say that if I got your scores that would be amazing. 🙁

Seriously though, 63% is a good start, and 75% is amazing, and yes, the performance tracker will change over time. You should probably average 80% by the time the exam rolls around.

@googs1484, I believe the peer scores update. I typically filter by the exam I took to give me a better idea of how I did, especially to know if I had a relatively easy set of questions.

@mitch895, yeah Ethics is going to be seeing more attention. GIPS can be particularly tricky. Been hitting Econ again too, needs to improve.

Just took my third paper (volume 1, test 2 AM in Schweser). Scored an 85% so I’m definitely moving in the right direction.

I just finished my PM paper for Schweser as well. I got a 75 on AN and 75.83% on PM. When I took my AM the peer average was 58%. PM peer average was 68%. I’m not sure if the averages continually update as more and more people take them or not.  For example, if I go back to performance tracker in 2 weeks could my score potentially be relatively different?

I think I am in a good place. Still TONS of room for improvement. I don’t like being so borderline because you never know the questions you’ll draw.

IMO, it would pay you to grind through ethics again.  You’ll need it for Level 2 anyway (in way more detail), so learning some of the more ambiguous stuff (like what to do when you see dodgy behaviour, soft dollars etc..) will pay off.  And it’s the kind of stuff that once you know it well, you will breeze through it.  Leaves you more time to muck around with the math intensive stuff.  Good luck
