        I don’t think there are any exceptions – you need your passport for the CFA exam. You’ll have to decide whether it’s more important to sit for the CFA exam or have your passport held by the home office.

          Agree with @fabian, you need a passport. pull your passport back and delay whatever you need to get done by the UK authorities, or defer your CFA exam.
