But I’ll never sell it, too many memories. Plus the faux leather case is actually nice and I got both for free~

There’s no way I could sell mine after so much blood, sweat and tears has been shared between us! Plus after 3 years I can’t remember how to use my Sharp EL-531LH

You say that @MattJuniper, I look at mine now after 2 years and have no idea how to operate it already

@christine I have a lot of calculators lying around in my house, would you like some for a practice run :p

I wonder what the price of a forward on a Professional would be for delivery in 3 months time 🙂
:(( @christine maybe we should test the durability of ours by throwing it off a tall building!
That could be a nice bonus section of the 300 hours site! I’m sure people would want to know how their calculator would be affected if it was run over by a car/dropped from a tall building/thrown down some stairs on the way to the exam!

I have all my volumes lined up on a bookshelf, just so I look intelligent when people come by and they can see what I had to go through. I obviously don’t mention I never read them and relied on Scweser!

Just did a quick search on online destruction videos of calculators and there weren’t any good ones – not even a blending one!

I’ve never run out of battery on mine either. I first bought it in 2008, it’s been used for all my exams, and I still use it every now and then. Still going strong.
The extra calculators or batteries is more of a safety blanket in my opinion. The calculator is going to be fine during the exam 😀

That’s a good idea @mattjuniper – we could run a poll where people could vote what is the best way to destroy my poor old calculator…
1. Dropped off tall building
2. Hammer
3. Run over by car (although I don’t think that would be very interesting to watch) -

Wow! Those are some destructive minds at work :ar! Anyone who has used the BA II Plus Professional, just wanted to know if your calculator lasted all 3 levels of the exam. If yes, then how long was it before you changed the battery?
@AJFinance I bought mine new. Lasted through all my exams and going strong. -

Haven’t changed my battery yet – I’m at Level 3 but failed Level 2 once, so it’s already in its 4th year.

@imdnextbuffet – lol I’m a guy. My pic is not me – I simply googled ‘king of the internet’ and this was the first result. -

I’ve got both the Plus and Plus Professional. Haven’t changed the battery in either of them yet, might do so before the exam, although purely out of fear rather than actually thinking the battery has run out!
