Hello, I’m 20 year old and i’m still a student in an economics university. I’m going to register to the CFA level 1 in december 2016. I’m worry that i am too young and have no expererience in finance. My mathematics is pretty good, I have learnt about microeconomics and macroeconomics in university and as a student i will have time to study for the exam. Please give me some advise, thank you.

The minimum requirement to appear for the CFA exam is graduation. you need to hold a bachelor’s degree for that.
But you can still start preparing if you are focussed enough to do CFA. Use any of Schweser, Wiley and Prepsmarter for the preparation of the exam. -

There are minimum requirements to take the CFA exam, basically you need a bachelor’s degree, be in the last year of getting a bachelor’s degree, or have 4 years of professional work experience to register for the exam. Here is the info directly from the CFAI:
https://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/cfaprogram/register/Pages/index.aspx
That being said, if you qualify, I would say you should definitely take the exam as early as possible. The sooner you start, the sooner you’ll finish and you will be ahead of most of your peers when you get your charter (I wish I knew about this program when I was 20…I’m 29 now). Don’t worry about being too young or inexperienced, you’ll just have to study hard and get the material down, that’s how anybody learns at the end of the day. In short, do it!
