Well @vincentt – you’re 3rd on the weekly score board so far (excluding the 300Hour team). So maybe there’s a chance this week to win 🙂
I’m not counted anymore!

Another one. Super easy guess on location this time!
Did you take the shot from Liberty Island? @Zee

It’s super random. It’s actually a dessert (chocolate ice cream) called Vacky. This was in Portugal.

@sophie I’m just saying it’s interesting that with dumb luck in timing and the right lighting, a crappy camera (although supposedly more state-of-the-art at the time) can produce marvellous results too! 😀
-

@Sophie Of course. In fact, i’m planning a trip to Goa post my L1 exam in June, you can try making it!

I must admit, excellent shots
Can you please tell me do you process photos, do color correction? Pictures taken in RAWIf you use a program, which one? Lightroom or is it something else?
-
Up::0
No processing – the camera itself is also a pretty basic one.
I’m not at all an experienced photographer, but one of my friends is literally a two-time Pulitzer prize winner and Emmy winning photographer, and I never really see anything that special about the equipment he uses. Most of his shots he just uses his iPhone.

@Sophie. Taken during my last vacation in India. In a beautiful state by name Kerala. It’s also called Gods own country. 🙂

Thanks @Zee. 🙂
My Nikon is full of spider webs now. It’s been more than 6 months since I touched it. Thanks to my MBA and CFA. 😀 -

@zee let me guess… 8-X
is this NYC? 😛
Ah, it is Manhattan, but where is it taken from? Testing your Google Maps prowess here 🙂

@Zee Alright. Also, I think you need to blog about photography tips and camera options 😉
It’s called shooting all the time, and occasionally some diamonds show from the mound of crap that results.

@zee Which camera? A DSLR?

@zee so you’re implying it’s the skill of the photographer then ? 😛

@vincentt Every Like or LOL is one point. Getting Promoted by an admin is 3 points. Badges give you anything from about 5 points to 25 when earned. 🙂

@AjFinance I don’t think you can do that at the moment. For now, you can upload your image on to imgur and attach that link here.

@Zee I think they are also referred to as lens filters. You also get Lens hoods.

@zee Which camera? A DSLR?
Nope, one of these bad boys:

@vincentt I think I should take away points if you DON’T get it right…
I’ll give you points if you know where it’s taken FROM, though.

I’m sure that has been mentioned before, but how are points calculated? And how much points for each ‘activity’?
-

25 points! There are badges like that! I should pay more attention to how I am earning my points -.-

@ajfinance http://imgur.com/ is your key for now.
We’re thinking carefully on how to enable file-sharing since we don’t want to get in trouble when it comes to CFA materials, so be patient with us when it comes to pictures etc. If you have any suggestions let us know!

@zee @sophie
It’s actually between leicester square and piccadilly circus, directly next to M&M store. -

@vincentt , some general rules on points are found in Forum Tips and Tricks. Active participation, gaining likes, badges and posting helpful or funny things in general works!

@AJFinance I just got a basic Nikon DSLR too. We can compare notes. 🙂
@Zee thats great 🙂 I guess Nikon and Canon are almost the same. But Nikon’s entry level camera has a few extra options. Did you get the transparent lens cover along with it?

This is the view from my flat balcony 😀
Congratulations, you just earned the “Show off” and “Made everybody else jealous” badges!

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I love capturing moments that tell stories, whether it’s landscapes, portraits, or candid shots. The ability ghost mannequin photo editing service provider to play with light and composition fascinates me. Each photograph is a unique expression, allowing me to connect with others and share my perspective on the world.
