Punch Drunk Love.
Just kidding, that one might tire your brain out more than reading CFA books.
How about Miracle?

@Marc unfortunately a poll is uneditable once it’s published. Otherwise statistically it gets too confusing! Better to have a catch-all term to cover all other unforeseen responses 🙂

I would go with Pursuit of Happyness, It helps remind me that while studying may kill my social life it is nothing compared to what Chris Gardner had to go through to get where he is now

You are all quite correct to note that movie-watching is not a luxury that most CFA candidates have. Perhaps the question should have been “What is the best movie based on a subject covered in the CFA curriculum?”
@zee, @sophie, is it possible to edit polls after they have been posted? It would appear that my other poll requires editing as well.
Either way, the correct answer is still “Trading Places”.

@padniaki
A film about hockey that involves a country other than Canada winning gold? I’m not sure I believe it.

I watched a ton of Friends when I was studying.
20 mins of mild entertainment, nothing too interesting to convince me to stop studying completely, no particular storyline or cliffhangers to keep you watching – perfect.

What about “The Blind Side”? One of the most inspiring and motivating movies ever. Could watch this b/w study sessions to boost your morale!
