I’m sitting the Level 1 exam in December and have the 2013 copy of the Schwesser notes, am I missing vital content by not having up to date material?

Hey @taco_enthusiast , I believe what you need to do is, compare the syllabus for both the years from the CFA curriculum and for the same topics I think you can use the 2013 material. But if there’s major change in content then it’s better to get a new set for 2014 buddy 🙂

@taco_enthusiast No, not at all;however, fixed income you are. That is the only difference between 2013 and 2014. Elan i think provides differences. Anyway, I have both 2013 (books) and 2014 (pdf). Everything is identical concept wise, except for fixed income. Practice exams are new though, which will help. I got my 2014 pdf (with practice exams) version off ebay for $30… it was a solid deal. If you don’t want to do that, you can always use the CFA readings!

Go through CFA curriculum, if you fear that you might get screwed. Just in case:)

@taco_enthusiast I doubt it. As long as you’re clear on what the syllabus changes are you should be fine. As @zayd says just watch out for fixed income.
