I guess, like finding a job, it’s all about selling yourself and your work done so far. People normally forget that once they got a job and got in they can relax. It’s not the case, or rather, the game just got started!

It’s such a disappointment when you try for a promotion but get rejected though. I’m biding my time for another 6 months – hopefully I’ll get my next promotion by then. Thanks for the tips!

On the bright side @mcricky, socialising is the more fun part of work (most times), sometimes it’s a matter of just starting, try it out and take baby steps 🙂 Best of luck for the promotion!
