        I’m taking the Level I exam in London in December, since I live in a country where I can’t take the test I have to fly to London to take it.

        I would prefer to book a hotel near the test center, and obviously book it as soon as possible. However I’m having a hard time finding possible exam centers. Are there multiple locations in London? And when can I expect to get it confirmed where I’ll actually take the test?

          Hiya,

          i stayed at the Ibis…it’s directly opposite so you could literally crawl there, but it will also be full of other candidates and I found it a bit noisy.

            hey @gislih09‌ It’s usually in the Excel Center in East London – the Tube line is the DLR, can’t remember which stop. Just the one location usually. I think it gets confirmed when you get your exam ticket, so pretty close to the exam. I’d book a hotel nearby that’s cancellable.

              I think @MattyJ‌ also used to take the exam in London so he’ll know about hotels.

                  @policedog‌ haha have been on and off this site, a little busy with non-CFA stuff but could only properly start next year. How are you getting on with studies?

                      @vincentt‌ Kind of putting it off until the christmas holidays. Going through FRA super-slow but think that I’ll have to re-do it anyways. Not efficient…

                            The closest tube station is Custom House (DLR), but if you live in any hotels next to the Excel Centre, you can easily walk to your exam hall.
