I study mostly at cafes, and I sometimes see some people studying for the CFA in the same vicinity. In general this makes me really uncomfortable (why? not sure) and i lose the motivation to study. they freak me out, lol.
Anyone else feel the same?

They are distracting I admit. I’d rather be a little further away from them or choose another place to study. self conscious like @hairyfairy I guess!

Why would it freak you out? People are studying no matter what… better to keep an eye on them 🙂

Home and office for me. Cafes are a no-no for me – too noisy, plus I can’t be bothered to move my books around.

Starbucks isn’t real coffee, just an extra milky one 😉 I study in cafes too, but haven’t really bumped into any cluster so far…

I normally see hordes of them at my local Starbucks. That’s why I avoid it.
My office also has people studying after hours. That does make me a bit uncomfortable.

I study at cafes – but seeing others doesn’t really bother me. Where do you go @hairyfairy? I may be one of the ones freaking you out, haha.
