Hey, I’m currently a second year student at University and I would like to register for the exam this December.
Does anyone know if they are that strict on being in your final year? When I sit the exam I will be, but at the moment I’m still second year. -

Hi @Abbas, it’s best to follow the CFAI guidelines highlighted by @Sophie. Your friend is correct, in the sense that you need a Bachelor degree for Level 3 registration – http://www.cfainstitute.org/programs/cfaprogram/register/Pages/index.aspx?intCamp=cfa_landingpg

Hi @Abbas – just check that you meet the requirements here at CFAI.
If you have a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree, or are in the final year of your bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree, or have 4 years of work experience – you can sign up. The entrance requirement is pretty broad, CFA qualification is also meant for people without any finance background, so it’s hard not to be able to meet the eligibility criteria.
