in reply to: What the heck is the Modified Dietz Method? #122011Up::4
Modified Dietz is an Arithmetic way of calculating time weighted rate of return which negates the effect of timing of the cashflows so as to avoid the fund manager being rewarded or penalized for the investers decision of adding or withdrawing cashflows from the funds or portfolios. It is used in traditional fund setup where fund manager does not control the timing of the cashflows.
in reply to: Will the CFA Feb ’22 exams be rescheduled? #124931Up::4Only CFA Institute or Prometric can tell this. If they decide to cancel or postpone the exam, they will send an email. Until then, keep preparing.
Up::3Hey Aayushi – Once you take enrollment into CFA program as a CFA candidate, your candidacy is not limited to any country. CFA Institute is a global education provider and it does not matter from where you wish to continue the program.  So yes, you can register for Level 1 in India and still continue the other levels from other countries too without changing the enrollment number.
in reply to: FRM Part 1 Material #124938Up::3I have a few videos from 2021 and hard copies of the material other than Kaplan. I can share the videos if you want. Hard copies can not be shared. Let me know.
Up::2One has to prepare for the exam if registered, till the CFA Institute or Prometric sends an email of exam cancellation. If due to Covid, the exam gets cancelled and you receive such email, they will register you automatically for the next exam, though you should keep in touch (inform) with the Institute via email. In this case, you will not be charged any fees.
For purposeful deferral request please see the below thread.

February 2022 candidates:Â The deferral request form will be available on 12 January 2022 through 15 March 2022 at 5:00 pm ET.
