Up5@Mattjuniper: I love u for sharing this maan!! seriously I have been asking ppl about their average score in the papers so that I could knw an approximate standing..but no one quite honestly was keen to help!!
I solved 4 full exam like tests AM and PM from Schweser… scoring from 50% average to 65%..Me too going for a similar schedule though m planning more papers..past papers and Kaplan book along with CFA mock paper if I can squeeze them in.Up5Can someone tell me how to go about it? I am looking to Join Indian Society.
Up5In Indian center they have multiple analog wall clocks and have a flip board or white board where they put up the time in 30 mins intervals.

Up5@Jwa: Well if you are forced into it and I believe many other collegues may also feel the same…you all can put a word with your manager or someone who can do something about it. We also had a similar situation where our fixed income dept was to pass the IAQ exam which was pre-dominantly equity in nature.
We did make some noise and conveyed that this did not add value and should be made optional.
A change was made!!Up4@AjFinance: yes 5 6hr mock papers..on my way to 6th with decreasing confidence.
@Diya: Formulae are memorized but just the methodology of solving is getting tricky sometimes or there are conceptual issues.
@lakshya25: I read through the refresher for L1 and 2. M considering solving all the EOC..within chapter examples for these sections again fron Kaplan..CFAI stuff confuses me even more..Up4@Sophie: Let’s say u r my muse to study…I see u when I write my papers =))
@AjFinance: I haven’t solved the CFAI Mock yet..hope to do that on Saturday with an exam like situation in my library. :D…I have done the past papers and I did feel that the space was a constraint..Just a thought..do they give a seperate sheet for answers without a template? On observing the spacing for past papers I felt at least they used to…May be the institute has taken up an environmental cause to save trees 😉
@hopetopass: A remedey to this is what I read in one of the professor notes in Schweser..”Always see the most direct impact of the stated change rather than viewing the indirect impact which would lead you to be confused” Just train ur mind to do this and u will be perfectly fine:)Up4@MattUnderwood: Welcome here!! Up4@SidMemon: Way to go!! thats a good score overall..I felt that Book 2 was more difficult may be because I attempted that in exam like format..AM and PM in a day with 2 hr break..book 1 was done in a bit haphazard way
