I took the exam my senior year and did not pass. Pretty much agree with everything said above. Its great to start early but if you participate in any extracurriculars or take a rigorous course work- save the money. I would check to see if the test is offered at a discount (mine was, reinforcing my decision to take the exam). Additionally, a lot of the material was fresh as I was in the middle of multiple finance classes covering topics on the exam.

Hello!
Im James, a rising senior at Providence College (located in Rhode Island.) In recent months I have grown really interested with the CFA program and and leaning towards trying to tackle it this Decemeber if I am fortunate enough to get a spot in a class through my school. Excited to be a part of the community and am a huge college bball fan if anyone is interested (primarily for the Big East.)

I may be wrong but maybe it deals with EPS? Obviously a lower share count will boost EPS.
