Hey guys, can you help me with the process of scholarship for November 2021, is the window closed for the November 2021 exam, I am writing for Level 1. If it is closed how can I apply for February 2022? The application window is not open yet.

Hi @Shashank9741, candidates typically apply around 1 year before the planned exam registration, given the exam cycles.
For example, Access scholarship for this year is closed last December, and is expected to open this month for next year’s exam applications.
However, all other scholarship types are on a rolling basis (you can apply all year round), but does take 3 months to hear back.
So if you factor that in plus the registration deadlines – which for Nov21 exam closes on 10 Aug 2021 – you may be just have enough time now to apply for Women’s/Student’s/Professor’s/Regulator’s scholarship (whichever is applicable), to hear back before the registration closes for Nov21 exams. But that does mean you have very little time (3 months) to prepare, which isn’t recommended.
You can apply for Feb22, that should give you a little more time, and you can wait till Access scholarship opens this month to go for that as well.

CFA Institute’s guidance for Access Scholarship opening was ‘mid April’, so it should be real soon, like this week or next I would expect.

At this point, we really don’t know. Back in April, CFA Institute responded to us with this:
At this time we don’t have a formal launch date for the 2022 Access Scholarship Program but anticipate having more information released later this month or early next.
They didn’t follow up with more info and their response hasn’t changed, so my best guess is ‘whenever they’re ready’. ☹️

Hello, I am interested in pursuing this programme but I do not adequate funds to supply this programme. I have been eagerly waiting to apply for the access scholarship and I want to give my exam in Feb 2022. Will the window be open before the early bird registration period? Does any one of you have any idea that how soon the access scholarship window will be open?

Hi @RajRajeshwari – merging your question into this thread as it is a similar topic.
We just don’t know when CFA Institute will open the Access Scholarship up for applications – they indicated that this would be open in Apr/May 2021, but obviously that’s come and gone.
We have recently followed up with them on this but the clearest answer we got was “when it’s ready”.

Now its Aug 21 and still no sign of access scholarship window open. If they open it, this month or after and display the result(whether recieved or not received scholarship) after 25 oct(which is the last date of Cfa level 1 registration for Feb 22 exam,as per cfa site) then how will I apply?

If you receive the results of your CFA scholarship application after the exam registration deadline you won’t be able to apply for that exam.

I am planning to give CFA L1 exams in november 2022 because i will reach final year of graduation in may 2022. So i wanted to ask if i am eligible to apply for scolarship this year.
Also i want to know if access scolarship window opens once or twice in an year

Right now no one knows what the plan is for the Access scholarship. CFA Institute have temporarily shut applications and will reopen applications “in the fall of this year”.
