Hi, Learning Outcome 4d. says: "describe the nine major sections of the GIPS standards." At the same time they are marked as optional content. Isn't that a conflict? What does "describe" mean? The LOS command word list says: "To portray in words". What exactly does that mean? As I understand it , I only have to memorize the 9 sections and be able to name them, since the content is optional. Other thoughts on that? Thanks.

Yeah sounds like at most you need to know what they are and roughly what they're about.
