I am due to take the imc unit 2 at end of the month and feel comfortable with the work. I have read that imc represents 30% of cfa level 1, will i realistically have a good chance of passing timewise (i work fulltime) in june or should i wait until december? Any advice much appreciated thanks

@markunders I’d say go for it. Even if you don’t pass you can still go for Dec, with the added advantage of having gone through the material already.

Hi @markunders, I’m a june level 2 candidate. I think you should give Level 1 June a go definitely, you’ve already covered 30% of the work anyway!

Hi @markunders, Im not familiar with the imc curriculum but I can share that I started studying in Feb of last year for L1 while working full time and passed. I used the Schweser third party materials to supplement the CFAI books and it really helped me. There are other highly recommended third party study aides you can look into as well. If you do sign up for Level 1 just stick to a study schedule, shoot for the magic number of 300 hours of total study time (I personally ended up around 250) and stay focused. I definitely think you can do it!
