      Hello Everyone,

I just finished my second year of a 3 years BSc Finance, Accounting and Management degree at University of Nottingham.
I will officially be in my final year on 21st of September.
As most of you probably know to register for the exam a Candidate should be at least at the final year of theirs bachelor’s degree.
So, does anyone know if I should have already started my third year to register for the exam or the important part is to be in your final year at the actual
      time of the exam?

      Best Regards,
      Tsvetan

Hey there. I’m a BA Finance, Accounting and Management student as well, at Notts. I’ll be in my final year as of September 21st as well.

When you register for the Level 1 exam ,it says that yo either need to have a Bachelor’s degree or you need to be 18 months from graduating. I registered for the exam in February 2015, gave it in June and passed. So you should have no problems registering for the exam. I have also contacted CFA Institute regarding this and its perfectly alright.
