Question

Hi im considering sitting the CFA level 1 in August or November in 2021 if I register now, will I get the materials for then or am I too early ? I want the print editions of the books too from CFA institute for August or November 2021 so are they published yet ? Or I have to wait ? additionally, other than the changes to less questions, computer based and less length of time in level 1 exam, is there any curriculum changes where they’ve included or excluded any topics ? If I register now for August or November 2021, I really want to start looking over the material and not wait. thanks

Hi @theseeker123 , due to COVID-19, CFA Institute has frozen the curriculum for 2020-2021 exams, meaning that 2021 exams will feature 2020 curriculum materials (no updates or changes this year).So you can register now for either Aug or Nov 2021 L1 and have the materials to start studying.
 Thank you. I did call the CFA today and I can confirm you're right. Along with the CFA curriculam book they provide, would you use KAPLAN Notes ? Or would you recommend any other resources ?

So you can register now for either Aug or Nov 2021 L1 and have the materials to start studying.
