What Do You Wish You Were Doing, Instead of Studying for the CFA Exam??

We all have those days, where we daydream of what we could be doing instead of sitting at a desk (…or a couch) studying for the CFA exam. Whether it be a personal hobby, events you’d like to attend, or just spending time with friends & family. What is it that you would like to be doing? For me…I’d rather clean the house or do the laundry than study for the CFA exam. But more seriously, I’d like to be doing is learning how to program or getting to go see my favorite college band who just got back together. I guess I could have asked the question in a way that is more CFA exam like….what are the opportunity costs to studying? Just think of it as motivation for passing.

Re-taker here. Wish I did more MC type questions as well. I think I only did the CFAI Mock and one PM schweser mock. Also should have done a few of the AM’s more than once, I did 2010-2016 one time each

Woodworking. I just want to get back to woodworking.

And I just want to have a nice Netflix/YouTube session without the nagging guilt that a. I should be studying and b. I shouldn’t be wasting time watching Australian dudes drop cars onto trampolines and c. I should be studying.

We all have those days @DylanOwen – it was worse having to fail one level (L3 for me) and repeat the process again.

Definitely lots of moments questioning myself and what on earth I’m doing where I could be doing other more interesting things…

What do you currently do, and why are you studying for the CFA qualification then?
