Not CFA, but I did have a work project that cost me a long-term relationship. That was crap.
I’ve seen one strained through CFA. Plenty ended because of work. Any issue in particular @hairyfairy?

Currently I’m feeling the weekend problem – the problem that on weekends, I really want to catch up on studies. Currently the boyfriend has been really understanding but I can see that it’s starting to bug him 2/3 months in. He’s also spending more and more time with friends I’m not too crazy about (totally understand that he’s bored though).
How do I keep this up for another 2+ months?

I agree with @sidmenon. Obviously this is a bit beyond my expertise here (I’m no relationship expert) but I’ve always felt with all tricky issues in relationships, the best solution is to have a proper sit-down conversation about this.
Explain to him that this is not because you want to ignore him, and you will need weekends in order to get through this exam. If necessary, take some time to take him through the syllabus!
If he’s worth keeping, he’ll see that this is important to you and he only needs to be patient for a few more months.

But this may be the precise moment where this needs to be addressed, rather than let it blow up a week before the exams, @hairyfairy? Confrontations (or rather frank discussions) are never easy…

@hairyfairy Exactly, like @Reena said, there’s a never a right time because it is not going to be easy at all. But the best thing to do is to get it done with as soon as possible.
