CFA exam registration issues when redeeming scholarship

        Hi, I was registered for CFA Program last week with the awarded scholarship, and firstly I’m using the “pay by invoice” method, after that I decided to change it to credit card payment so that I canceled the invoice and register again, but then my scholarship was not reflected at the checkout session when I register the second time, and it showed the original price.

        I have contacted the CFA Customer Service department few times but didn’t get any reply from them.

        I’m worrying that I won’t get any reply from them until I miss the registration and scholarship deadline. Is it possible for me to just proceed with the payment using the invoice issued during my first-time registration? Although it is not matching with my account now, since after I cancel the previous registration, currently my account showed the original price.

            Same issue happen to me. Can i know whether there is a toll free number to call in to speed up the process? Because the toll free numbers for Malaysia region provided in the CFA website is unavailable.

            Anyone could help with it?

              Try calling their US number with an online service. I used Google Hangouts to call the US for free – not sure if it still works though. A quick search online should tell you how to do this from Malaysia.

                  I think it’s no longer available. Tried to contact my local CFA society but they asked me to wait for the reply as well. Any other tips to solve?

                That sounds like a tech issue – unfortunately with the implementation of the new CFA CBT format and logistics it’s a little manic right now so that might be why you’re still waiting on a response.

                  Hi, I was registered for CFA Program with the awarded scholarship, and i tried paying with my card but i was unable to do that so, i had to log out and get another card,  i tried logging today to pay but then my scholarship was not reflected at the checkout session when I register the second time, and it showed the original price.

                  I have reached the CFA institute and my local directorate but my fear is that it will take days before they respond and this will past the deadline 30th june, 2021.

                  I am so worried about this because i do not know the fastest route to do this.

                    Hi @yiling, CFA Institute have come back with a response. You’ll need to get your account reset:

                    The candidate must contact the GCC directly by emailing info@cfainstitute.org to assist with resetting the account.

                    Please ensure the candidate is providing the following information in order to resolve the issue.

                    Name

                    Email address

                    Partner ID#

                    Which scholarship awarded

                    You should hopefully get it reset in time before the early registration deadline. Hope this helps!

                          Yea, the issue has been solved. But unfortunately, I still haven’t got any reply from the customer service department. Instead, I used my earlier invoice to make payment, and after going through some processes the registration department had solved the problem. Btw, thanks for your help!

                                  @yiling already stated the solution: that you should contact the CFA Institute registration department to sort it out.

                                    I have already wrote to info@cfainstitute.org and it have been 12 working days and no response from CFA Institute Side. And How to contact CFA Institute Registration Department Can you Share the email id ??

                                      Hi, sorry for late reply. May I know have you save the earlier issued invoice? As I used that to made my payment even though I have cancelled it, so they contact me after the department received my payment. It takes about few days after I made my payment.

                                      I told them my issues, they communicate with the scholarship department regarding the issues and after that asked me to register again when the problem fixed, means my scholarship appear again in my account.

                                      I’m not sure if I can directly share their email here, would you mind to give me your email and I send it to you?

                                        Please zee help me, tomorrow is the deadline for MY SCHOLARSHIP TO EXPIRE . i TRIED MAKING PAYMENT yesterday but my card was rejected, and on logging in again the amount was reversed from 250 usd to 1450 usd. please assist me, I have sent mails to the GCC yesterday immediately but no response.
