Couple of questions - 1. How would a non-finance professional get the CFA charter? Being an IT Professional how would I show the 48 months of experience required to get the charter post CFA Level III? 2. What is the validity period for any CFA Level? Say if I complete CFA Level I, can I take a gap of few years and then take up Level II do or is there an expiry? Thanks abhicfa

You can absolutely wait as long as you like, although there is benefit in taking all levels back to back (momentum, you remember topics better, motivation)
